Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman passed away in August after putting up a brave fight against colon cancer. The actor left his billion fans and friends heartbroken. Even his co-stars like Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr. and many more paid heartfelt homages on social media for the late actor. Nevertheless, the wife of the late actor Chadwick Boseman, Simone Ledward, has now been granted the authority to administer his estate, according to a court order obtained by PEOPLE. As per the reports, she has been named as the administrator of Chadwick's estate with limited authority, which has an estimated value of $938,500.
However, Ledward will have to file a $939,000 bond along with the final distribution of the estate by Feb. 22, 2021, as per the court order. Reportedly, in October, Simone had filed a petition to be appointed as the administrator after Boseman's tragic demise in August, without leaving a will. For the unversed, the Black Panther actor secretly got married to his longtime love before his death. They reportedly got engaged in October 2019. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it for the last 4 years which was then progressed to stage IV. The family even released a statement on Boseman's Instagram account.
An excerpt of the note read, "A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. "
