The scare of Coronavirus is only rising with more and more people getting affected. From laymen to public figures, everyone is coming under the radar. The latest person to have contracted the deadly virus is Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma producer Asit Modi. Just recently, the producer took to his Twitter handle and informed his fans and followers that he has tested positive for Coronavirus. He even released an official statement saying that after getting some symptoms, he got himself tested and the results came positive. He has also urged people who came close in contact with him to be careful and follow the protocol. Asit even asserted that he will be okay with all the love and blessings from the fans and only wished happiness and safety for others.
While taking it to the micro-blogging site, his statement read, "After some symptoms of COVID19, I got myself tested & Report came positive. I have isolated myself. I request who has come in my contact to be careful and follow the protocol. आप मेरी चिंता ना करें, आप के प्यार प्रार्थनाआशीर्वाद से मैं जल्दी ठीक हो जाऊँगा. आप मस्त स्वस्थ रहें (Please don’t worry about me. I will be cured soon due to your love and blessings. You stay happy and healthy)"
Apart from Asit Modi, recently, Dabangg 3 producer Nikhil Dwivedi has tested positive for COVID-19. Reportedly, the actor-producer underwent a precautionary check-up for the virus after complaining loss of taste. Even Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi has tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus and revealed that he is asymptomatic.
Others like YouTuber Bhuvan Bam, politician Smriti Irani, Hrithik Roshan's mother Pinkie Roshan, actor Yuvika Choudhary and many more were tested positive.
